Global Programs team Business Intelligence Engineer

Amazon is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the Global Programs team within Worldwide Customer Service (WWCS). This position will be instrumental in identifying key opportunities and trends in our employee lifecycle and Social Media. Based on these results, you will then partner with Amazon teams to positively impact both our employee and customer experience. In this role you will discover and solve real world problems through data analysis and research of key initiatives. This role owns program implementation to drive deep learnings, process improvements, and strategic recommendations to global leadership. The BIE role will be responsible for creating the proper data modeling
Basic Qualifications · Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field · Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in a BI and/or Statistics role · Demonstrated leadership in data warehousing concepts, including data modeling initiatives · Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux, Python, R · Ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions · Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment · Proven ability to develop engaging customer-facing programs · Ability to self-direct, multitask, and prioritize a constantly evolving
