Want to drive improvements across Amazon? Internal Benchmarking is seeking an experienced Business Analyst, based in Seattle, WA, to join our growing team. Our team builds, develops, continuously refines, and applies benchmarking products and methodology to inspect, measure, and drive improvements with Amazon’s internal teams globally. We collaborate with Amazon business leaders and benchmark internal processes, approaches, and technical systems to establish highest standards. We spearhead, drive, and influence changes across the company. Internal Benchmarking measures and analyzes current processes across teams globally. BAs on our team work closely with Product Managers and business owners to collect data on processes through on-site time studies, surveys, internal databases, and external data suppliers. The BA is responsible for analyzing and interpreting large sets of data that will allow business leaders to drive actionable change. In this role, you will be learning new topics frequently,
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Math, Finance, or related discipline - 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role - Advanced SQL and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms - Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, and familiarity with data visualization tools - Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner - Excellent organizational skills including
