Amazon is seeking a Business Analyst to support our US air transportation growth initiative. Amazon transportation is continuously innovating on behalf of our customers to deliver more selection quickly and at lower prices. In this role you will partner with the finance team to provide key data-driven insights that drive operational efficiency and identify new opportunities. You will drive future solutions that will impact how we operate, and you'll have a lot of fun along the way! Your responsibilities will include: · Generating actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses · Owner of finance data solution for Amazon Air Finance and expert on Air operational metrics · Acting as a key interface between business and technical divisions
· · Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field · · 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position · Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel · Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams · Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills · Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
