Amazon Web Services (AWS) is is seeking a talented, self-directed Sr Social Media Campaign Manager to accelerate customer adoption of AWS’s cloud computing platform, through a proactive, data-driven approach. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in an exciting, fast-growing business. You’ll be responsible for top-level business goals and will own management, measurement, and execution of social media marketing. You will work at the strategic level to champion new, innovative ideas, and at the tactical level to execute test plans, and iterate based on performance metrics. You will also be responsible for the creation and execution of social media campaigns for some of AWS’ highest profile events (e.g. AWS Summits and AWS re:Invent) and global campaigns. Lastly, you will be a resource for cross functional teams – you will provide guidance and best practices across a global enterprise organization. An ideal candidate will possess a strong awareness of social media tactics
· 6+ years’ experience running successful social media campaigns on both small and large scales. · 6+ years of work experience in social media marketing or content marketing. · Bachelor's degree or higher. · Deep understanding of how social content functions on Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, and LinkedIn and how to optimize this content to generate the best results. · Deep understanding of major social media platforms including analytics and business manager tools. · Ability to think big and propose innovative strategies to maximize reach and engagement. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
