Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to be based in Seattle to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel - AWS Products. The role will primarily support Amazon Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the cloud computing service industry, providing IT infrastructure services, such as on-demand compute storage, database, network and content delivery, artificial intelligence, mobile, and internet of things services, and more. You'll be an integral part of the products teams you support, giving input on business and strategy to providing legal counsel on regulatory matters and commercial deals, resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships, negotiating strategic deals and relationships, and setting up structural solutions that allow clients to move quickly. · Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admitted to at least one state bar (or equivalent) · 2+ years of legal experience· In-house experience at a technology company · Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage work streams, clients, and projects under deadline pressure · Experience with IT transactions, including technology licensing agreements · Familiarity with cloud computing services and enterprise computing
