As an Applied Scientist for the navigation and behavior team, you have the chance to help develop cutting-edge robotic technology by combining navigation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In this job you will: · Collaborate closely with software engineers, applied researchers and hardware teams to develop planning systems for robots. · Take responsibility for technical problem solving, including creatively meeting product objectives and developing best practices. · Interact with teammates in variety of roles to accomplish your goals. · Identify

· Ph.D in Robotics, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field. · 4+ years of experience developing behavior, navigation, planning and/or localization solutions for robots, autonomous cars or similar · 3 + experience developing software in C++ or Python· A thorough understanding of both best practices for practical planning and behavior systems and the state-of-the-art in academic research. · 3+ years of industry experience in Robotics · Experience with control systems, or computer vision or machine learning systems, or numerical methods Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action
