The WW Business Architect, Consumption & Innovation is responsible for aligning and refining the core sales approach for execution by the field in transformational areas impacting our field sellers.

You will be part of a new "Consumption & Innovation" team of senior sales and program leaders with a primary focus on the transformation to consumption centric value selling, one of the most critical changes that requires significant focus in FY15 and beyond. In addition to this clear focus on consumption transformation, you will also be asked to develop and land business architecture on a number of highly innovative cross BG sales challenges, potentially including our evolution to include telesales in the STU across segments. You will partner closely with the WW STU Strategy & Operations lead, business leaders, as well as ensure the STU are inclusive of the WWEPG teams and key partners such as Services, M&O and WPG.

This role will require you to be a senior strategic business leader with a proven track record in Microsoft and who can translate BG and corporate strategy into landable execution for our field sellers that ultimately impact the customer value we deliver. You will work significantly with key stakeholders in BGs and field to ensure that any strategies are landing and to help resolve key issues. The ideal candidate will have operational strength combined with true passion for the field who can engage directly when needed but also coach and guide sellers/field leaders. You will be looking for ways to help transform specialist sales and driving key initiatives cross-team to deliver programs and capabilities to the specialist field.

Key responsibilities and activities in this role include:
WWEPG Consumption:
o Define the overall business architecture for WWEPG roles across businesses, working closely with BAs in each of the businesses to ensure there is a coherent framework for generalist sellers/services and customers
o Closely partner with services and partner organizations to ensure alignment on all approaches
o Ensure there is as much consistency as possible across businesses for consumption approach - both for the benefit of a consistent customer experience and for ATU and other non-specialist sellers
o Create the EPG consumption playbook (and contribute to WW SMSG) /guides/tools and processes to ensure they are high quality, clear, simple and landable
o Ensure the consumption playbooks/guides/tools and processes represent the services/partner and BG stakeholder views and contribution
o Create and/or provide leadership to all BG & engineering centric rhythms on consumption (including those led by other BAs)
o Contribute to the timely escalation of all key issues to the BGs and key stakeholders where we have blockers for consumption, including business relevant justifications (in partnership with operations, sales and technical sales leads)
o Partner closely with consumption metric owners in each business team and with role owners across ATU and STU

Other projects and responsibilities:
o Consider telesales approaches for consumption and champion with other BAs in WW EPG in partnership with the telesales leader
o Own and drive other key cross business initiatives on behalf of the GM Transformation/Strategy
o Ensure you stay connected to key customers where possible to stay informed and relevant on all key issues

We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years' experience in specialist sales with a preference for strategic influence connected to the field inside Microsoft. This person will understand the importance of business architecture in landing and accelerating transformational strategies, and ideally been an architect or in a BG/strategy role in corporate. Strong project and program management skills are a key requirement, and strong communication skills with the ability to work, and lead through influence in a cross-group environment. Strong analytical ability is helpful. The candidate should have conviction, passion for the field, strength in developing and executing strategy.
