The Visual Merchandising Team, based at our HQ in Redmond, WA provides best-in-class point-of-sale solutions for US retail. The Visual Merchandising Manager will be responsible for:
o Helping drive the visual merchandising strategy for Surface and Windows as well as creative development & production of permanent, semi-permanent, and promotional in-store merchandising for all in-store visual merchandising programs.
o Writing creative briefs for each project that defines the business objectives, schedule, creative direction, consumer demographics, retail requirements, and overall scope of work for the selected agency
o Working across multiple business and marketing teams to ensure all point-of-sale materials align with business objective and brand guidelines
o Partnering with digital marketing counterparts to ensure fully integrated retail campaigns are conceived and executed
o Working closely with our world-wide retail team to ensure that we are delivering against category strategy and within brand guidelines
o Managing the relationship with the creative agency assigned to each project
o Managing the budget assigned to each project or category to ensure that we remain inline or below
o Ensuring that all required legal is obtain and approved by legal department
o Develop/produce visual merchandising sections of product launch or seasonal campaign execution guides
o Planning and executing research projects pertaining to proving out impact of program strategy or program visual merchandising elements
o Gathering and reporting-out the financial analytics on all programs including sales impact and program costs
o Presenting visual merchandising strategy and planning to leadership team, channel marketing partners, and retail partners
o Driving innovation projects to up level creative impact and to deliver an Omni-channel marketing experience

The ideal candidate will have:
o A high degree of strategy and creativity in visual merchandising, design, fixture production, and retail execution
o Experience working with or a passion for consumer electronics
o Strong project management skills and attention to detail
o Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in both verbal and written form
o Prior success in managing large budgets funding multiple projects
o Experience in managing agency relationships
o Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and influence others to achieve required objectives
o Self-motivation and ability to work independently to manage long-term projects with little direction
o Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design or related field
o Four+ years of relevant experience in retail marketing communications, corporate visual merchandising or retail design

Minimum requirements:
o Bachelor's degree
o 4 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail design
o Project management experience
