largest events. o 8+years' experience in procurement, purchasing, contract management or supplier management.
o 5+ years' experience in contract negotiation.
o 5+ years working with contracts and legal requirements.
and proven ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
and proven ability to work in team environments and matrix organizations.
o 5+ years' experience or training in process re-engineering.
persuasive presentation skills to Senior Management
process management skills, advanced business system development skills, advanced risk assessment and contingency planning skills, intermediate financial evaluation skills.
o 5+ years' experience in vendor/supplier account management.
PC skills and proficiency in all Windows
with Microsoft Procurement
(or similar) tools and processes such as Dealpoint
, Smart Buy
, and MS Spend
purchasing or negotiation training a plus.
to work independently, prioritize work, and manage multiple projects.
decision making, problem solving, communication and negotiation skills required.
o BA or BS degree required; degree in Business/Procurement/Accounting/Finance
