team for StorSimple
is hiring a Technology Specialist
with a passion for customers and technology.
position for StorSimple
will be responsible to:
customer pre-sales technical support and readiness for the field sales force, POC
scope and management, StorSimple
deployment and partner readiness
with StorSimple SSPs
and a v-team of sellers across our Southeast
US commercial teams to drive StorSimple
appliances and Azure
in architecting solutions in a complex sales environment and remove Technical
key trends & drive necessary improvements in sales & product to capitalize on opportunities.
with partners in joint solution and integration with StorSimple
and maintain competitive analysis including white papers, solution briefs, application notes, and presentations
understanding of storage and cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology including knowledge of competitors
to articulate pros & cons of infrastructure and storage design/architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors - e.g. latency, workload sizing, performance requirements, etc.
to coach and mentor a broad constituency - TSPs
, & Customers
to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders
working knowledge of storage and backup architectures and topology (iSCSI
) along with file systems (UFS
working with databases such as MS SQL Server
, particularly as related to storage, backup and DR operations for these applications
developing storage sizing and performance guidelines and/or tools.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required as a Technical Sales/Technical Marketing
engineer in the area of storage technologies, with overall 10 years of experience in the high-tech industry.

in Computer Science/Engineering
or equivalent experience.
ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
have strong communication skills, written and verbal. Good
