A central role to our services delivery is the Technical Account Manager (TAM), a trusted business advisor to Microsoft's enterprise customers. The primary touch point and account manager to our most valuable customers, the TAM is critical for ensuring overall customer success with our solutions. The TAM achieves this goal through:
o Building of deep, long-term customer relationships
o Providing oversight and management for customer solution planning and execution
o Discovering and creating demand for market leading solutions (e.g. cloud, mobility, data, etc.)

The successful TAM:
Customer
o Ensures market leading customer satisfaction for a portfolio of accounts
o Provides oversight and planning throughout the services lifecycle
o Engages in building long term customer relationships with business and IT stakeholders
o Understands short and long term customers business and IT objectives and enables their achievement through Microsoft solutions
o Is the customer advocate, ensuring that customers realize the full value of their investments

Delivery
o Lead teaming across Microsoft sales and delivery stakeholders, to ensure right solution delivery
o Ensure critical issues are escalated and resolved
o Drive adoption of cloud and mobility solutions
o Provide input for product enhancements representing customer interests

Business
o Recognize and capitalize on revenue opportunities
o Manage overall financial health of a portfolio of business
o Drive strategic efforts to enhance Microsoft's penetration and brand

Leadership
o Service as an ambassador for Microsoft solutions, particularly in strategic Mega Trend arenas
o Leverage Microsoft assets for the greatest effect of customer success

Qualifications:
o Refined relationship management skills; ability to effectively engage at all levels of an organization
o A passion for technology
o Project management capability
o Experience in IT services or consulting preferred
o Bachelor's degree
o 5+ years of experience with direct customer engagement responsibilities
