Candidate Responsibilities
Drive the planning, estimation, implementation, execution and measurement of product quality assurance.
Collaborate well in a team environment and develop good relationships with partners.
Provide mentorships to others on the team in areas of expertise.

Candidate Requirements
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of C#/C++ development experience or STE experience.
Passion for delighting users/players with awesome user experiences.
Prior experience with Quality Assurance methodologies and practices including data driven quality.
Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with the ambiguity of new projects
Strong analytical & problem solving skills.

Bonus Skills
Proficient oral and written communications skills
Testing experiences and/or understanding of holographic displays and wearables.
Provide general support to project team in a manner complimentary to the company.

Experience with agile or scrum development practices.
An ability to innovate impactful new processes, technologies and data utilizations.
Passion for entertainment and the gaming space
Experience with relational databases such as SQL server
Experience managing contractors and/or being a technical lead

As an experienced Software Engineer II you will work closely with leads to help challenge and grow junior testers. You will work not only on your project but you will also be advancing the overall portfolio of test tools/processes to continue to strengthen and advance the GTE as the leading games test organization in the industry.

The successful candidate must have:
BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
At least 4 years of Software Engineering experience
A firm understanding of testing methodologies and software quality assurance
A minimum of 3 years of C# development experience
Experience using data to drive decisions
Prior experience writing test automation
Experience with agile or scrum development practices
Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills

Optionally, the candidate will have:
Familiarity with Xbox One, Xbox LIVE, and XLSP technologies
Passion for the entertainment and gaming space
Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server
Experience with Performance, Load/Stress Testing
Familiarity with current online security protocols and measures
Experience being a technical leader
