The Office SMB GTM and Channels team is responsible for driving the overall Office and Office 365 SMB business from a cross-channel perspective, within the ASG Marketing group.
We are looking for someone to take on an important role leading our team's work on growing sales in the syndication and telco channel. This challenging role fundamentally requires the ability to bring the best cross-channel SMB thinking and work to the relatively specialized world of Syndication through our Telco partners.
Top-line responsibilities:
Deeply understand, articulate and influence the strategic direction of the syndication/telco channel.
Drive effective Monthly Exec Business Reviews and Top Issues discussions between the BG and the segment, with clear agreed accountabilities. This includes working closely with the segment team to arrive at cohesive viewpoints and priorities where possible, and ensuring executives are prepared for escalations where there are differences in perspective.
Own the SMB GTM perspective on state of the business, including channel targets, forecast and investments. Form data-driven opinions - and be able to defend them - on options for driving maximum Office 365 growth and usage in Syndication, including investment options.
Work with the CSP lead to ensure the GTM aspects of migration from Syndication to CSP are clearly planned and articulated
Be the single point of contact for the segment teams into ASG SMB GTM marketing. Be able to present a comprehensive view of joint initiatives and work with the content and readiness roles to validate, prioritize and schedule content and program requests.
Advocate for the channel strategies during planning and ensure that syndication/telco is well represented in all cross-channel SMB strategy discussions
Manage clear rhythms with key ASG marketing stakeholders in Syndication, most especially Business Planning, CSP and TPM. Develop strong connections with key stakeholder in operations, WWLP and Engineering who play key enabling roles in the channel.
Represent ASG marketing perspectives to the segment field and syndication partners, as appropriate, including comfort presenting at executive levels.
Undertake strategic longer-term projects on behalf of the team, as appropriate.

Who are you?
Well, only you can answer that - but we're looking for someone who:
Is looking for a big, challenging role that balances strategic thinking with tactical execution
Is analytical and data-driven, but is able to understand the dynamic and nuances of working with very large partners
Has exceptional communication and presentation abilities; an open, confident, and inspiring communicator at all levels of the organization who can land complex messages effectively.
Is highly organized with excellent project and program management capabilities. An ability to clearly prioritize critical decisions and effectively manage complex follow up activities is essential.
Deals professionally with ambiguity, and can execute on multiple tasks, projects, and deliverables in parallel to efficiently achieve high-quality results
Takes informed positions on issues, but is open to debate, change and continuous improvement - and executes on decisions once made.
Is a self-starter who can take the initiative and work with minimal direction when necessary
Will maintain a high level of personal accountability from self and others
Preferred: Has experience in a business group, field or marketing role to SMB audiences
Preferred: Has an MBA or equivalent experience in analysis and execution
Preferred: Has experience with Telco or large partners.
