) team is responsible for server hardware definition, design and development of Server
and Rack Infrastructure

To support this effort we are looking for a Senior Hardware Program Manager
who can support our CSI
group in Redmond
volume pricing benefits and purchasing efficiencies by defining and promoting standard Server
configurations for use by multiple business units across Microsoft
review requests for variances from standard Server
configurations, identify and drive opportunities to improve conformance and drive higher volumes.
manage the Product
line, by analyzing market trends and business unit feedback and prepare supporting information for changes.
and strengthen relationships with Server OEMs
and manage Server
roadmaps, planning and transitions.
support and provide input into in the procurement process.
support and provide input into the Server Qualification/Test Process
continuous work flow process improvements.
o7- 10 years of experience in Program
and/or Product Management
or related field
working with cross functional teams with significant Engineering
to define strategy and generate business cases for future products
to take complex analysis and communicate via Executive Level PowerPoint
presentations up the chain of command in a clear manner
