Office PMG is looking for a site manager to launch and grow key Microsoft Office Division (MOD) web properties that resonate with customers and meet business objectives. This is a strategic position that will help create and optimize the O365 pre and post sales web experience for IT professionals.

The site manager is accountable for leading the vision for our web experiences including executing current web marketing, direct purchase experiences, and influencing, executing, and growing the PMG site strategy for future releases of Office. He/she is responsible for day-to-day site execution, stakeholder management, vendor management, budgeting, site integration with online and offline marketing, and innovative web site creative execution. The site manager partners closely with stakeholders, including engineering, R&D, marketing, editorial, design, as well as other functions across the company. This person is expected to put our customers first, ensuring highly satisfying and productive experiences for existing and new customers.

Key areas of responsibility include:

o Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to continuously improve the live site service and deliver best-in-class learning, evaluation, and direct purchase experiences.
Contribute to the fast growing web direct channel for consumers.
o Ensure customer and business data drives all plans, activities, decisions, analysis.
o Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and track success metrics.
o Manage site tracking and reporting on an agreed-to basis to ensure targets are identified and met and costs controlled.
o Work with design team to provide clear information architecture that ensures a compelling, targeted customer experience throughout the site.
o Design and manage frequent A/B and MVT tests to optimize site engagement and conversion.
o Take responsibility for timely development, documentation, communication, and delivery of site plans.
o Plan and execute worldwide launches for Office sites.

Qualifications of the successful candidate include:

o At least 3-5 years of managing strategic or high volume web sites, driving strategy, managing and executing content publishing, promotions or merchandizing.
o A passion for and experience in creating customer centric web experiences.
o Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with technical marketing, content creation, and publishing.
o Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative web publishing environment.
o Has experience with key aspects of business-driven Web publishing (strategy, content, and project management) for multiple audiences
o Has demonstrable marketing acumen and understanding of integrated marketing practices/principles, and understands their application to the Web.
o Has strong web UX and site design skills. Exceptional attention to detail.
o Is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity and without direction, and to forge partnerships and drive for results at all levels of Microsoft.
o Has superb analytical, decision-making, and project-management skills.
o BA/BS degree required, MBA degree optional.
