A Technical Evangelist
(TE) on the US Audience Evangelism Team
uses software development knowledge, technical writing and persuasive presentation skills to inspire students, startups and developers to build innovative applications using Microsoft's
leading edge technology for a mobile first, cloud first world.
As a member of this elite team you will participate in developer events and engage the community through startup weekends, meetups, user groups and Hackathons
. You will develop relationships with community leaders and influencers and reach hundreds of thousands of developers through your branded online media.
This is a highly technical role with the mission of engaging and inspiring the broad community of developers and fostering adoption of Microsoft
development tools and technologies for the creation of apps, games and services for Windows
and Microsoft Azure
This role is responsible for:
adoption of Windows
and Microsoft Azure
in the Atlanta
and creating technical assets such as reference apps, starter kits and patterns and practices guidance for use at in-person events and online
impactful technical content at events and through online channels
the student, startup and professional developer communities in person and online
relationships with community leaders and influencers
development for Windows
and/or development on other mobile platforms such as iOS/Android
or Cloud Platforms
such as AWS
to communicate concepts and code in a concise and instructive manner in writing and as a technical presenter.
2 years of experience writing code with apps in store(s) (iOS, Android
for technology and software development
degree in computer science
