Join Microsoft in this amazing opportunity as a Senior Manager of our Sourcing Team developing and executing marketing leading sourcing strategies across multiple products. This is truly a unique position that allows for high impact and the ability to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities.

The Manufacturing, and Supply Chain (MSC) group is looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager specializing in FPCBs. In this role you will help to develop and execute MARKET LEADING SOURCING STRATEGIES in your assigned category via full market knowledge, supplier rationalization, predictable and industry leading commodity pricing plan, TCO (Total-Cost-Ownership) cost modeling through transparent supplier relationships, and will use supply chain principals to drive efficiency and cost.

You will also secure components and/or services in the assigned category that will provide competitive advantage in both technology and cost for Microsoft. As a leader in this space, you will offer the most aggressive and "closest to the pin" costing projections as well as have the ability to stand up to the most aggressive alternatives, doubts, and scrutiny. You will offer change management to continuously improve efficiency and performances via repeatable processes, people growth, and elimination of work duplication.

A successful candidate in this role will have high ambition to grow with Microsoft and the MSC organization. Demonstration of high energy and the willingness to create impact in a high demand and ultra-high stress environment will be key. Must possess the ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through facts, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities. The ability to both quantify and qualify situations as well as a relentless drive to overachieve and make the most of what is provided will be desired. Demonstrated ability to think strategically but detail oriented to support ideology with facts as well as the ability to articulate points of view with executive management while executing plans when directed will be ideal. Highly intelligent and able to triangulate opinions to formulate actions and being action oriented will be required.

Functional Expectations:
o Expertise in market analysis, SOURCING PLAN, to dissect market size, players, customers, growth, technology replacements/forecasts, pricing trends, etc. to formulate sourcing strategies.
o Expertise in Financial Statement Analysis to derive SHOULD-COST-MODELS and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers before RFx is conducted.
o Bottom's up process costing utilizing Activity Based Costing and other methodologies to build should-cost models.
o Professional experiences in "owned" factory operations and COST ACCOUNTING. Make vs. Buy experiences a plus.
o Superior Project/Timeline (Consumer Electronics Integrated Project Management) adherence experiences.
o Expertise in Supply Chain Operation's flexibility/capacity to articulate appropriate contractual T&Cs and costs.
o Contract and price negotiations excellence.
o Deliver best in class TCO (Total-Cost-Ownership), COS (Continuity-Of-Supply), and BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS.

Category Requirements:
o GLOBAL CATEGORY MANAGEMENT expertise, focused on FPCBs.

Education/Other Requirement:
o 10+ years of industry experience or equivalent experience preferred.
o Knowledge in Electrical Engineering preferred.
o Must be a Business Professional with strong Engineering expertise.
o Quick learner of Microsoft systems and processes.
o Agile & Adaptable.
o Mandarin language is plus.
