The newly forming Enterprise Evergreen team is chartered with understanding and driving Office investments and improvements which enable enterprises to move to a software as a service model. Asking Enterprises to shift from 3 year releases cycles to an evergreen model where Office continues to update and improve itself on a monthly or quicker cycle is a challenge. The Enterprise Evergreen team will work to understand what gaps exists, what deters Enterprises to make the change as well as what would make Enterprises very motivated to move to evergreen. We will do so by making data driven decisions, collaborating with partner teams as well as directly contributing code to the Office suite of products as necessary to pave the way to an evergreen ubiquity.

This newly forming team has a number of positions to staff. There are two engineering qualities we look for. First, we look for "Doers". These are results oriented engineers that are fully capable of rolling up their sleeves and contributing improvements. Here, experience with the Office source code, engineering system, and a confidence to contribute high quality code is valued.

Second, we look for "Thinkers". These are engineers that want to understand the why before taking action. Thinkers seek out and use data to drive informed decisions and actions. They analyze results and course correct as needed to ensure business goals get achieved.

Responsibilities include:
As a senior member, you will own areas of investigation (AOIs), drive the solution, get others bought in and make it happen while ensuring that we have success metrics in place. Contributing high quality code to various Office or partner code bases.
Establishing strong cross-group collaborations.
Mentoring less experienced team members.

Requirements:
- Strong leadership and technical skills.
- An entrepreneurial spirit.
- An ability to influence others.
- Enjoy collaborating with others to help the team deliver on our business goals.

Engineers with a great track record for results, a passion for the team charter, and a commitment to team excellence are encouraged to apply.
