As a Senior Program Manager on the Xbox team you will lead and organize a team of engineers in designing and planning new user experiences to delight Xbox gamers. You will work with multiple disciplines at the company and gather business requirements, develop feature designs and specifications, and organize software development to get the right features delivered at the right time with the right quality. You will be part of a fun and healthy environment with passionate co-workers creating amazing gaming experiences for millions of Xbox customers!

Candidate responsibilities:

- Drive strategy and product delivery of user family controls, account creation and management for Xbox devices
- Product owner of feature team building consumer experiences in agile environment
- Work closely with user design and research teams
- Collaborate with key Microsoft account, membership, and services teams

Candidate requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years working as a software engineering Program Manager defining, driving, and shipping consumer software products or services
- Experience in apps and services, games, or consumer user interface design
- Excellent cross group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver on product milestones
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability
- Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower
- BA/BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Bonus skills:

- Experience with and passion for account security & complex authentication mechanism
- Experience with and passion around Xbox, LIVE, and video game industry

The Xbox Quality Organization inside Microsoft's Operating Systems Group (OSG) is looking for a Senior Program Manager passionate about shaping the Xbox customer experience. This includes using customer feedback to contribute to our investment roadmaps, understanding customer perception around key experiences, expanding the reach of customer feedback into other areas of the business, and driving consistency when presenting customer experience data.

Job Responsibilities:

o Create and implement a consistent methodology for identifying "hot" areas of the Xbox experience where customer perception of quality may not meet our internal quality expectations.
o Partner with peer teams to expose the "hot" areas and hand off for deeper analysis.
o Participate in the creation of deep dive analysis, acting as the expert for what should be included in the output to provide a consistent and cohesive output across all topics.
o Accountable for all logistics around the ongoing Customer Feedback Review where deep dive analysis is presented to key leadership members.
o Continually work to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Customer Feedback Review.
o Create and facilitate a forum to expose top customer feedback items within a smaller audience to provide breadth exposure and drive prioritization.
o Track and report follow up actions surfacing in the Customer Feedback Review, ensuring appropriate teams are driving to resolution.
o Identify opportunities to extend the established model into other areas of the business.
o Identify opportunities to build new processes to expose and review appropriate customer feedback.

Qualifications:

o 7+ years Program Management experience including experience shipping high quality customer facing software
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Proven capability to thrive in fast paced environment
o Demonstrated track-record of self-directed execution
o A BA or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
o Core competencies required: Action oriented with excellent analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, communication, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
