As a senior program manager, you are responsible for leading a cross-functional engineering team of Electrical

This is a fun opportunity to work with the process team on projects which support world-class software developers, hardware engineers and marketing teams as they create products that have an impact on tens or even hundreds of millions of end users. We are looking for an energetic, highly capable candidate with demonstrated ability to manage and drive software application projects which will support process implementation for the Device Process Management
team and their clients.
You will be working with an entrepreneurial team as a senior program manager where you will drive programs involving product, development, test and others which provide tools and systems for the organization. While
yours is a technical role, you may also participate in general process management activity as well, as this is a very lean team.
activities are including the following:
with product team and customers to determine product strategy and prioritize feature needs
with teams from development and operations to understand and capture requirements and expectations for critical projects; establish and validate goals and success factors to serve as metrics
the product development process from conception through specification, design, construction, release, analysis, and iteration
data to optimize performance and focus on high-value product features
and implement deployment steps, and care of source materials
status of all impacting projects in the organization, and provide visibility to management in a constructive and consistent manner
schedule and scope variances and provide feedback/recommendation to stakeholders and management to resolve project prioritization, resource contention and other project issues
and deliver artifacts of significant impact to the ingestion, adoption and execution of process improvement tools and processes
candidates will have:
- A minimum of 8 years of project management; proven project management skills such as the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
experience of working through the full product cycle from initial design to final release; good people management and leadership skills; a strong focus on detail
managing web, client and mobile products
technical, process and design problem solving; the ability to understand requirements, emerging issues and opportunities; the ability and willingness to test the results of the development team and manage the change process
- A solid understanding of commercial hardware development processes
organization skills and agility; outstanding ability to partner across teams including outside vendors and other participants who may have conflicting commitments
passion for customers, excellent engineering practices and business partner satisfaction
and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, responsive environment; must have ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making
comfort working with the user experience-be a genuine contributor-you should be able to instantly infer a good user experience from a painful, or pointless one.
- 4-year degree in engineering, computer science, closely related discipline or equivalent experience
