Who We Are - the Xbox Store Global Product Marketing Team

The Xbox Store team's charter is to offer consumers the gaming and entertainment content they most desire, where and when they want it. The Xbox Store Global Product Marketing team's charter is to acquire, engage, and monetize new and existing Xbox customers through great marketing initiatives. We do this through driving customer insights, partnering with engineering on commerce platform requirements, evangelizing content monetization best practices to content studio partners, and driving marketing programs and promotions through Xbox.

Desired Qualifications
The right candidate will bring proven expertise for the following:
o 7+ years of product marketing or relevant experience required.
o 5+ years of gaming and entertainment industry domain knowledge or experience preferred.
o Ability to gain customer insights across the customer journey from awareness to advocacy, both qualitative and quantitative.
o Ability to turn customer and competitive insights into market requirements document for engineering/platform considerations.
o Developing and optimizing Xbox Store/Xbox Live positioning and messaging framework, value proposition, and branding.
o Partnering with teammates or peer teams to land the Xbox Store value proposition through engaging content programs and promotions (Xbox Live Rewards, Black Friday, Countdown to Holiday, Back to School, Free Movie Weekends) across owned channels (Xbox console dash, xbox.com, CRM, social, PR).
o Relentless pursuit of marketing excellence through customer/fan-centricity, competitive knowledge, strategic thinking and data-driven decision making (working with BI/decision science teams), ability to deal with ambiguity, team work and collaboration, and drive for business impact.
o BA/BS required. MBA strongly preferred.

Core Responsibilities
o Develop customer journeys for Xbox customers as they engage, discover, try and buy Xbox Store content.
o Drive customer insights across the customer journey from awareness to advocacy, both qualitative (focus groups) and quantitative (surveys, research).
o Partner with peer teams to drive competitive insights and other strategic projects.
o Turn customer and competitive insights into next-gen commerce platform requirements as input to engineering teams, with projected business impact.
o Developing and optimizing Xbox Store/Xbox Live positioning and messaging framework, value proposition, and providing input into branding.
o Helping evangelize content marketing best practices and ROI to content studio partners for games and movies & TV.
o Partnering with teammates or peer teams to land the Xbox Store value proposition through engaging content programs and promotions (Xbox Live Rewards, Black Friday, Countdown to Holiday, Back to School, Free Movie Weekends, etc.) across owned channels (Xbox console dash, xbox.com, CRM, social, PR).

This position will require travel, both domestic and international, a few times a year.
