We're looking for a high impact, high energy strategic business leader to design and build the future customer experiences for Office 365 in the consumer space. This is a highly visible cross-teams role that requires working closely with engineering and marketing leaders to build an outstanding commerce experience for consumers and bring innovation in how strategic partners as Retailers and Telco sell and fulfill Office 365 to consumers. This leader will have the ability to think strategically about what the next level of customer experience for Commerce and Partners is while making it real by driving multiple initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Office consumer offering, Commerce platform and channel technical capabilities
- Partner with the Commerce platform team to design, build, improve customer experiences as consumers want to buy and renew directly from Microsoft.
- Partner with the Channel team to innovate and find new experiences to sell and fulfill Office by engaging with strategic partners as Retailers and Telcos.
- Build and articulate a clear Commerce strategy and North Star experience
- Define business requirements and partner with R&D teams to deliver commerce capabilities and channel innovation
- Drive the prioritization process and governance with Commerce Platform
- Partner with R&D team to deliver what's committed on the roadmap
- Engage with external partners to help build the customer experience, partnering with R&D and segment teams
- Be the SME within Office Marketing team on all Commerce and Channel related topics with regards to Product Marketing

Successful Candidate Competencies:
- Customer focus: Be the voice of the customer and drive decisions and execution with the only goal that it will improve the customer satisfaction
- Messaging: Ability to clearly articulate the customer pain point or need in a structured way for more impact
- Data Driven: strong data analysis skills. In the world of cloud, all of our decisions are informed by hard data
- Agile Collaboration: exceptional collaborator on complex multi-faceted product management projects across multiple groups, including with engineering stakeholders
- Influencing Others: the ability to move others across organizational boundaries to a desired business outcome leveraging Storytelling techniques and understanding the influence map

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product marketing or customer experience roles. Services experience is a plus. Technical experience not required but understanding of the engineering function is a plus. Applicants need to have a flexible can-do attitude, be comfortable with ambiguity, and initiative to drive proactive change. MBA is a plus.
