The Data Platform business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses at Microsoft and has a strong roadmap of new cloud services releasing in the coming year. As part of this roadmap, we are looking to build a business around the Advanced Analytics workload. The workload includes technologies such as data integration, in-database analytics and machine learning, is a $7.6B market and expected to grow to $20.4B by 2019.

The Advanced Analytics team is a passionate, agile group with aspirations to massively disrupt the existing incumbents. In order to do this we need to drive adoption by building best in class value propositions, messaging and readiness for the Data Integration and preparation capability area for Advanced Analytics. This includes Data connectivity, transformation, quality and governance both on premises and in the cloud.

We are looking for an innovative Product Marketing Manager who can think creatively about how to market the value of Data Integration as part of an overall Advanced Analytics solution. This role will own end to end product marketing responsibility for all the products in the Data Integration capability area including Azure Data Factory, Connectivity, Sync, Enterprise Data Directory, SQL Server Integration Services, Data Quality Services and Master Data Services.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-Define our value proposition and messaging for the Data Integration stage for AA solutions
-Build first best technical and sales readiness content
-Design demo and solution requirements for showcasing the Data Integration portfolio
-Identify and evangelize Data Integration customer best practices at Microsoft & Industry events
-Establish a strategic view of the market, customers, competitors and partners
-Work with engineering and business planning to define the business model
-Provide strategic recommendations on pursuing potential partnership and acquisitions

The ideal candidate will have some core product management and marketing experience, have strong technical grounding and be a strategic thinker. The role will help frame and influence the product and go to market strategy. In addition the candidate should be able to quickly pick up and understand core product concepts, connect the value across the portfolio and translate them into value props and audience specific content.

Experience and proven track record in taking new and innovative products and technologies to market is a plus. A master's degree is preferred but not required.

Business Intelligence (BI) has enormous potential to differentiate Microsoft in the Big Data market which is expected to grow to $24 billion by 2016. We recently released our new experience for Microsoft Power BI in public preview making it easier for end users to self-serve their BI needs.

The Power BI team is a passionate, agile group with aspirations to fundamentally transform the "business of business intelligence." To enable this transformation we need to continue to grow our partner ecosystem delivering out-of-the-box connectors for popular SaaS services providers reducing the time to insight for end users and building out a new go-to-market motion with and through ISVs.

We are looking for an innovative Product Marketing Manager who can think creatively and lead a virtual team to define the strategic approach to partners for Microsoft Power BI across multiple dimension.

This is a fun, challenging and highly visible role where your success will have a direct impact on establishing Microsoft as a leader in BI and driving consideration and adoption of our broader Data Platform.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-Create and execute business plans to drive adoption of Power BI through ISV partners.
-Develop the core BOM including value proposition, positioning and messaging that resonates with SaaS service providers and ISV.
-Creating a marketing mix that drives business results. Working with MARCOM, regional marketing and sales teams to execute sales and marketing plans and key initiatives.
-Field readiness, preparing the sales teams and regional team with enough advance notice, information, and resources to both launch and sustain marketing plans against specific business goals.

Basic Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience in technology related roles in areas directly relevant to the responsibilities described above.
-Ability to think strategically about technology and its business implications
-Top-tier problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve results despite ambiguity.
-Ability to collaborate and drive cross-team collaboration with diverse group in a cross functional organization.
