. As the head of Lifecycle Marketing
, this person will lead efforts to develop customer-focused digital marketing campaigns that engage and deepen relationships with Xbox Live
members at various stages of the customer lifecycle. This person must be able to think strategically about opportunities across the customer journey and channels to match strategies and tactics to achieve business success. This person will partner with groups such as Product Marketing
, Xbox Live Business
teams, Business Intelligence
, outside advertising agencies and internal technology/development teams to deliver exceptional customer-facing campaigns. This person will develop global strategies and campaigns across digital and direct marketing channels and execute them in the US while guiding international regions to execute locally.

business and external agency teams to develop marketing strategies that welcome and onboard new members, engage and monetize established customers, and re-engage dormant customers. These programs will optimize for driving Xbox Live
engagement and drive meaningful impact to various P&L, within budget.
, develop and lead execution of lifecycle and engagement marketing programs and campaigns across all channels including console, email and targeted media.
holistic, automated campaigns that drive incremental impact across all key Xbox
metrics, e.g. Xbox Live
transactions, Xbox Live Gold
upgrades and renewals, entertainment app usage, multiplayer usage, etc.
with cross-functional partners to devise and lead ad hoc campaigns that drive step-change behavior for various customer segments of the Xbox Live
base. This includes leveraging gaming and entertainment content as well as aligning to key launches, when appropriate.

platforms, as opportunities emerge.

team to develop new predictive modeling around scalable segments that activate and re-engage key pockets of the Xbox Live
customer base, such as first purchase in Xbox Store

internal content publishing and programming teams and external agencies in driving creative development of assets and targeting of offers to active Xbox Live
quality campaign execution through internal and external partners.

o 8-10 years of experience at a direct marketing, and/or subscription-based company, including financial services, wireless, publishing or entertainment industries
understanding of Direct Marketing

experience driving effective and innovative relationship marketing and direct marketing campaigns across various channels, e.g. email, in-product and/or digital channels
understanding of marketing analysis, P/L

of customer lifecycle - must have a clear grasp of how individual campaigns fit into previous and future customer actions and experiences
be a strong analytical thinker; experience with propensity models, recommendation engines and other analytical tools preferred

self-starter who can create strategies from ambiguous situations. Must
identify opportunities that move the business forward and evangelize new programs that drive impact
