Are you looking for an opportunity to influence worldwide customer perception of Microsoft's security acumen?

The WW Cyber Security and Data Protection team is seeking an experienced product marketing manager who will own the end-to-end development, marketing and promotion of the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report (SIR); act as product manager that will herald updates and explore the future of Intelligence Reporting for Microsoft and guide our EPG audience marketing efforts.

The Security Intelligence Report> is one of the industry's premier sources of security intelligence and is one of Microsoft's most high-profile security communications programs, involving collaboration with teams from many business groups across Microsoft and significant engagement with subject matter experts and security executives. This role requires superior project management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and topical subject matter expertise in the areas of security, malware, and privacy. It also demands a high level of collaboration across many parts of the company including international Microsoft subsidiaries.

This role will coordinate our Security Intelligence communications and marketing strategy for several key target audiences. This is a critical role that requires a commitment to engage many customer/partner audiences, remotely and face to face, and requires attention to detail when cultivating these engagements; this aspect of this role requires experience with audience marketing management and evangelism.

Key areas of responsibility include:
Drive the production, marketing and promotion of the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report and ancillary collateral.
Develop and evolve the value proposition and messaging framework for the SIR to extend the uptake and influence of the report.
Develop and report on monthly key performance indicators. Recommend program and marketing adjustments based on performance against key performance indicators.

Qualifications of the successful candidate:
Minimum 5 years of strong product marketing, relationship marketing understand OARPI, word-of-mouth or equivalent experience with significant exposure to the IT professional audience.
Minimum 3 years of strong Program Management and project management skills, including a solid comprehension of the MSF process model, a good understanding of Product studio.
A solid understanding of security concepts, attack techniques, malware, anti-malware technologies, vulnerability management and vulnerability mitigations is required. CISSP, CISA and/or CISM certifications would be helpful, but not required.
Proven success with complex deadline-driven projects in a multi-team environment.
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to transform intelligence into actionable guidance.
Ability to analyze web analytics, campaign performance, and customer engagement metrics to optimize engagement strategy on an ongoing basis.
Strong communication and presentation skills, proven cross-group collaboration skills are requirements.
A passion for deeply understanding customers' security and privacy needs, and topics related to the threat landscape.
High enthusiasm, ingenuity, results-orientation, determination and resourcefulness
Occasional domestic and international travel is required
