Microsoft's online store ( is growing rapidly, and the team needs a high-energy, result-oriented marketer to manage the store's digital marketing program for United Kingdom, France and Germany based out of Redmond, WA. Microsoft store currently has digital marketing programs in 50 countries so this is truly an opportunity for global impact. Your role, as Digital Marketing Manager, will be to work with Microsoft's affiliate network partners, Paid Search channels (via Google, Bing and Yahoo etc.), retargeting partners and other digital tactics to grow and optimize these demand channels.

This role requires a balance of long-term strategic thinking and short-term execution. As the owner of digital marketing for a specific region you will be responsible for:
o Managing digital marketing strategy, planning and budgeting for a region, including growth of established countries and expansion of new countries.
o Developing strong relationships with regional store teams to develop and execute result oriented marketing plans for a region across various channels such as SEO, paid search, performance display, affiliate marketing and re-targeting.
o Executing day-to-day affiliate management including ongoing development and deployment of fresh marketing creative, affiliate communications such as newsletters and blog posts, offers, affiliate payments, and dispute resolution.
o Bringing leadership with new growth ideas and its implementation to grow the business including but not limited to new offers and campaigns via affiliates, affiliate recruitment, paid search campaign enhancement and launch of new channels.
o Working with multiple Microsoft internal product teams and regional stakeholders to answer questions, develop marketing plans, and resolve roadblocks.
o Keeping up-to-date on digital marketing trends and developments, including attending conference and industry events.
o Understanding and analyzing digital marketing KPIs, developing scorecards, newsletters and reporting on results and key initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
o As a leader for this key area of the business, you will be measured by Microsoft Store traffic and revenue referred by digital marketing channels.

What you bring to the role:
o High energy, result orientated marketing expertise with an incredibly strong bias for action.
o 6-8 years of experience in online marketing with a preference for hands-on international experience with affiliate marketing, paid search via Google, Bing and other digital channels.
o A willingness and ability to work with a large number of people all around Microsoft, including our international subsidiaries and lead meetings with a high level of tact and organization.
o Strong understanding of ROI-oriented marketing and internet advertising model.
o A Test, Test and Learn mindset.
o Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is preferred but not required: French, Arabic and German.
o Superior verbal, written and presentation skills.
o A contagiously positive can-do attitude.
o Strong analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking and project management skills.

o Ability to travel 10-15% of the time.
