The Microsoft Services Communications Team is looking for a seasoned communications manager who will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing a world-class content strategy and execution model for both internal and external audiences. This role is charged with developing compelling messaging and content that reaches both internal and external audiences spanning the communication of organizational strategies, goals, and priorities to compelling customer and partner facing content designed to help generate interest and help drive greater revenue.
The Content Manager is responsible for managing and developing marketing content to meet a wide range of organizational objectives related to user experience, quality, business needs and efficiencies in production, maintenance and evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce and sustain consistently clear, concise and trustworthy audience-focused content.
Scope work, define project, and lead collaborative team effort through project completion.
Conceptualize, plan and deliver content that educates customers and partners on Microsoft Services' value proposition and capabilities relevant to their business.
Craft compelling, shareable content and stories for a range of formats including, but not limited to, website pages, video, emails, social, ServicesWeb, ServicesApp and other short and long form content assets. Repurpose original content into new formats as necessary.
Manage content development for internal and external digital properties.
Responsible for overall relationship with key stakeholders on large projects.
Provide consultation to key stakeholders and regarding content strategy.
Create and maintain content guidelines for content producers across the organization.
Audit content and maintain content inventory.
Develop content requirements and develop content solutions.
Develop process improvements for content development and maintenance.
Analyze business and customer needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of content in meeting organizational goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Public Relations or a related field and six to eight years of experience in a communications role.
Strong organizational, writing, editing and project management skills.
Ability to meet challenging timelines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Internal and external communications experience preferred.
Experience in strategy development and working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
