MDG- Microsoft HoloLens Team is continuing to revolutionize consumer electronic devices. The team is that incubated Kinect and profoundly redefined the way people interact with technology is forming a product development team to change the world again! We are growing team of experienced device product developers, working in a startup environment on redefining experiences with epic technology innovation.

We are developing ground-breaking hardware, software and experiences across computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, and image and video processing, networking and graphics. We will transform our ideas into reality through shipping a first-to-market product.

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Program Manager to be a part of our team

Duties/Qualifications:

Education - Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, BS/MS

Years of industry experience - 8 minimum

- 8+ years of experience in program management within an engineering development team

- Full responsibility for at least 3 significant delivered-to-market product development cycles in high performance, consumer electronics industries.

- Hardware development experience

- Demonstrated cross-functional experience across multiple geographical locations and time zones

- Excellent written and verbal communication

Duties:

- Team leadership for cross function product development team

- Interface across multiple cross teams outside of the immediate org (e.g. software and experiences) in driving programs

- Define/execute to product feature requirements and to author application specifications or feature requirements

- Program manage the schedule, deliverables, product costs, and budgets

- Manage vendor engagements, including initial vendor selection.

- Establish legal contracts and author SOW. Obtain quotes, write POs, etc.

- Organize, present, and document technical and program reviews/status to Senior Management.

- The candidate must be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) to support design and manufacturing activities.
