The worldwide A&O finance team does analysis and reporting on global results for discussion with Leadership teams across Microsoft. A&O finance team is seeking a Sr Finance Manager with broad range of technical and soft skills to manage and own all aspects of the worldwide revenue analysis, planning and reporting. This position will also help assess revenue creation opportunities, opportunity sizing and opportunity tracking process. Your work will have immediate impact on revenue.

Primary Responsibilities:

o Lead Xbox, 3P and AiA planning and forecasting process from WW perspective.
o Partner with Global Specialist Sales organization; run MBUs QBUs and BPRs
o Performing in-depth revenue analytics to determine main business stories, and providing business insight to influence business decisions at senior leadership level;
o Collaborate with others on ad-hoc projects

Summary of position:
The A&O Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support to the field compensation processes within A&O. This includes, quota plan decision, quota setting, quota relief and ad hoc sales contests. In addition, this role will provide conduct analytical review of advertising revenue with the goal of identifying opportunities for our business partners to target. The position will be located in Bellevue and represents a unique opportunity with in Microsoft where an individual can support a field sales team while being located in the greater Seattle area.

The role will consist of the following areas of emphasis:
- Provide insights and analysis of plan design changes to determine impact to A&O business
- Support quota setting and relief processes in partnership with the A&O sales operations and WWIC
- Summarize and review relief requests as part of semi-annual process including review with senior leaders
- Provide ad hoc support for revenue opportunities and marketing effectiveness studies with the objective of increasing revenue for MSFT
- Provide subject matter expertise on quota setting processes and primary partner with WWIC for A&O finance

Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert on quota setting principles, tools, timelines and key business partners
- Support semi-annual quota setting and relief processes with in A&O
- Partner with business leaders by delivering sound financial support and advice oriented at ensuring the compensation process are aligned at growing revenue in line with cost and strategic objectives
- Perform ad hoc revenue analysis supporting revenue opportunities

o Provide insights and analysis of business performance for customers (Agencies and Advertisers) with the impact being revenue growth and greater share of wallet for those customers
o Provide ad hoc support for partnership arrangements, revenue opportunities and marketing effectiveness studies with the objective of increasing revenue for MSFT
o Provide subject matter expertise on business scorecard calculations for WW A&O as well as on a geography by geography basis

Responsibilities:
o Subject matter expert on agency and advertiser hierarchies in order to support the advertiser changes by agency
o Partner with reporting team to ensure that appropriate customer level reporting is available on a self-serve basis
o Partner with business leaders by delivering sound financial support and advice oriented at growing revenue and cost discipline
o Analyze and deliver insights on the performance of customers (Advertisers and Agencies). Deliver insights to field finance teams that enable them to better understand best practices of performance and opportunities for growth.
o Perform financial analysis of partnership deals to ensure appropriate ROI, compliance and consistency with other commitments
