This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of the XBOX Accessories development team. The team is responsible for new product design and cost reduction of the accessories throughout the life of the products. The position involves successfully working closely with industrial designers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, antenna and RF engineers, firmware engineers, test engineers, component engineers, and program managers.

The responsibilities of this position are focused on specifying, designing, implementing and verifying the product electrical design. This includes owning the part selections, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM, and cost analysis of the design. The development of the product starts with requirements definition working with cross disciplinary team members. You will then be responsible for evaluating the different solution options for functionality, mechanical/ID design, cost and risk, followed by developing the solution, implementing, verifying, releasing to manufacturing and supporting it in production.

This requires the ability to quickly learn, analyze and implement new interfaces and subsystems, break down complex issues and collaborate across cross functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Must be able to plan work, and work to a plan adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving environment.

-Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
-Eight to ten years of experience designing, implementing, validating and shipping products of medium to hiplexity and volume.
-Requires a good understanding of PCB board design and tools, system performance optimization, analog circuit, filters, regulators and digital design.
-Working knowledge of WLAN(802.11a/n/ac) and Bluetooth(BT4.1) protocols.
-Prior design and implementation of low power embedded processor products with wireless radios is required.
-Design for manufacturing, assembly and test are required.
-Strong communication skills and must be able to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
-Enthusiastic, motivated and self driven.
-Domestic and international travel is required
