As Senior Director of WW OEM Investments, you and your team will be responsible for investments and deal making with Microsoft's device partners. This newly created role reports to the General Manager of WW OEM Licensing and Investments. Your team's core responsibilities will include:

Establish a deal making center of excellence.
Lead complex deals in partnership with the sales teams, Microsoft executives, and other stakeholders (product, business development, portfolio management, product marketing, finance, operations, and legal).
Create a broad framework, strategy, and set of business processes for managing deals and emerging opportunities (e.g., intake/prioritization, pipeline management, deal authorization framework, project management for complex deals, deal-desk function for less complex deals, business principles applied across deals, etc.)

Oversee and optimize investment of OEM marketing budget.
Establish investment priorities, principles, and guidelines to enable sales and marketing teams to effectively execute core investments (e.g., cascade of marketing funds across business priorities and partners, marketing requirements and guidelines, ROI metrics, and quarterly accountability).
Manage upside and strategic investment opportunities to target bets that will drive incremental revenue, share, new device categories, and competitive wins.

Create and lead a high performing team of investment and deal specialists.
Recruit and retain diverse talent capable of pioneering creative solutions to complex problems and closing breakthrough deals that will unlock opportunity for Microsoft and our device partners.
Foster a culture of smart risk taking, agility, and drive for impact through teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in business planning, strategy consulting, product marketing and management, or relevant experience is required. Previous experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, or Investment Banking. MBA preferred. Business experience with the hardware device ecosystem a plus, including knowledge of market trends and industry participants.
