The Microsoft Learning Experiences (LeX) Products team is looking for an experienced community builder for the top technical certification program in the industry - the Microsoft Certification Program (MCP).

We have an enviable community of 2m+ tech professionals certified on MS technology around the world, and these folks are some of our best advocates - and we want to recognize them as such. We want people to feel like they're part of something special, whether new to MCP or a much awarded veteran.

This role will be responsible for building an engaged technical community, giving them a feeling of inclusion and membership in the 'club' of MCPs. You will work with teams across LeX and the broader Microsoft to move the dial on MCP engagement. You will work with technical leaders from across the company and the industry to facilitate their connection with the MCP community. You'll devise effective ways to represent the value of MS skills validation to employers and industry

The ideal candidate has [previous experience as a technology evangelist, a community leader, and a community builder - and of course is an MCP!

Primary responsibilities include:
Engage the MCP community and facilitate cross-community engagement through social media, online channels, and in
person and virtual events
Communicate value of certification messaging to tech professionals, employers and industry -
Facilitate engagement of technical leaders from across the company with the MCP community
You'll have a big say in developing a segmented benefits program strategy for the MCPs

Job Qualifications:
An extensive technical background
Ideally an established profile in the technical community as an author, blogger, speaker, evangelist, or content
Huge enthusiasm for learning and certification
Microsoft certified
