The Worldwide Retail Channel Marketing Organization
is searching for a senior channel marketing manager to oversee the strategy, planning and operations of the Microsoft Retail Experience Center
. The position will oversee the management of the facility, operations, and planning, including the development of the retail technology journey to demonstrate frictionless and seamless customer journey across all touch points.
You'll have very strong collaboration skills, keen eye for storytelling, an innovative thinking with a passion for technology and a talent for influence and impact through others. The candidate will have strong presentation and demonstration skills, well-honed executive presence skills and the ability to bring others along to your point of view. You'll be excited by the task of driving the day-to-day operations of a state-of-the-art facility and not daunted by the fast pace and continual evolution. You'll be a relationship builder with a strong attention to detail that enables stellar project management.

accountability for managing and driving the evolution of the Retail Experience Center
), leading expansion, improvement and increasing internal and external value
the execution planning and deployment of category retail programs and campaigns at the REC
including in-store visual merchandising, digital / online merchandising, experiential programs, training programs
for driving a unified REC
planning approach across groups to maximize collaboration, cooperation, impact and influence including the development and management of project plans, scope, schedules, communication plan, post mortems
and associated initiatives, providing leadership, direction and guidance related to the future of retail, including the integrated product purchasing process, consumer decision-making process, retail assortment and merchandising strategy
5. Managing REC
day to day operations including tour scheduling, budget management, maintenance
6. Managing REC
vendors including operations coordinator, facilities and agencies
The ideal candidate will have a 4-yr college degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years' experience in consumer electronics marketing, business development or a related field. Prior
experience in the retail industry is a definite bonus, being a self-starter, and a passion for technology is a must.
