We are seeking a Business Manager to work closely in the HP business to grow revenue and sales of Windows devices. In this role, you would be the partner of the HP Sales GM in building, developing, and growing the business. Your focus would be in three areas - Strategy, Insight & Governance, and Business Management - that would drive decisions and actions for upside in the business. Finally, you would have an international perspective on business, working with teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibility areas:

1) Strategy and Business Development:
Strategy: Partner with the HP Sales GM on direction of the business, solutions for opportunities, and business development. Drive business planning meetings with the account team, to identify
opportunities, understand business case for new avenues of growth, and work with the GM to build and drive strategic initiatives.
Planning: Work with the HP Sales GM to build the Account Plan for new fiscal year and mid-year update, using a strategic, business priorities, sales and marketing, and execution lens. The Account
Plan pulls together device design, channel assortment, sales quota, and marketing/demand generation plans.

2) Business Insight & Governance:
Business Insight and Opportunity Assessment: Drive high impact business IQ and insight, to impact critical decisions, direction, and sales actions.
Business Governance: Drive governance of the business, by reviewing and assessing the business globally with a business hat on. Drive the right questions for the team to think about, the right
drills-in, and insights - to identify what is driving the business, where the opportunities and risks are, and what are the best paths and actions going forward. Forge the business story and land this as
part of the Rhythm of Business.

3) Forecasting and Business Assessment:
Analyze and manage budget/forecast process with early highlighting of variances and potential impacts to achievement. Lead the software sales, PC Hardware
forecast and worldwide budgeting processes for the team. Partner with the OEM finance team on monthly and quarterly market forecasts on PC and devices shipments and licenses.

4) Business Management:
Advisor and Business Manager for GM: Be the right arm for the GM, and represent the business as needed. Advise the GM in defining priorities and driving the pace of those priorities. Provide
insights and preparation for GM on executive meetings/events in Microsoft and with HP.
Executive Communication: Partner with GM to drive preparation of all executive communication including but not to limited to C-Level meeting, Executive business review, Finance business review, etc.. Deliverables need to closely working with peers within and outside the team.
Business Operations: Lead internal and external business cadence and ensure operational tightness by orchestration multiple stakeholders towards achievement of key deliverables in a timely manner.
Work with finance to manage the operating expense budgets for the business, provide early insight to potential spending issues to ensure the budget is managed effectively.
Business Rhythm: Manage all key process to maintain operational tightness Work with the GM to run the business rhythms, including Monthly Finance Reviews, Internal Account Reviews, Account
Reviews with HP, Mid-Year Reviews, and Team Planning Meetings. Be the business consultant to the HP account team, and structure the business flow with the team.

Strong financial analytics skills - to manage the forecasting and budgeting processes and devise models where needed to manage the business operations effectively

We are looking for someone with 6+ years of sales, finance, and/or business management experience, with a passion for shaping direction. BA/BS required, MBA preferred

The Role requires 25% travel and reports to the OEM Business Manager but will partner the majority of the time with the HP Sales GM.
