The Microsoft Azure Business Planning
team is looking for a great individual to join a great team focused on leading the growth of the Microsoft Azure
business. As a Senior Business Planner
in the C+E Marketing
organization, you will own the strategy and pricing models for a set of Azure
products and services including media services and customer support. In this role you will set the business model strategy for these offerings, as well as determine pricing, service meters, and SKUs
where appropriate. You will also serve as the product manager for the paid Azure
support offerings, and will be drive end-to-end strategy and execution of launching new offerings, growing existing offerings, and building continuous improvement in the customer and partner experience.
Areas of responsibility include:
cross-function teams to evolve current Azure
paid support offerings and introduce new offerings targeted at partners.
to continue to improve customer support experience and drive tool improvements with engineering.
customer support steering committee meetings and providing regular updates to senior leadership.
and delivering the business model decisions for new and existing Azure
media services offerings including video on demand and live streaming offerings.
key metrics to monitor the customer experience and business performance and providing monthly reporting.
all internal and external related content is up to date while driving field education on Azure
support policies and offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with a large group of internal partners to define and execute strategic initiatives with passion, precision, and excellence. The ideal candidate will also have excellent analytical problem solving skills and be able to develop solutions meeting competing requirements, using data to drive decision making. Excellent
communication and leadership skills are a must to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects. BS/BA
degree required; MBA
