The Business Manager advocates the interests of the Server & Cloud sales team to ensure revenue, metric, and objectives attainment through team business and strategy coordination and execution. This role reports to the GM of Server & Cloud Specialist Sales within the WW Enterprise Partner Group.

The Business Manager is responsible for translating Microsoft's Server & Cloud Sales strategy into a consistently executed set of world class processes and execution strategies, enabling the organization to achieve its business growth objectives in the most predictable and effective way possible. The position requires an individual with a proven track record of success in leadership, strategy, and financial acumen that can work positively through influence to drive results. The role provides end-to-end visibility across WW Specialist Sales, strategy, finance, and operations in one of the fastest growing segments in Microsoft Enterprise Partner Group.

Key Result Areas:
1. Business Performance - Deliver the quarterly revenue commitments and annual revenue targets for Server & Cloud Sales Team. Participate in overall strategy decisions, and partner in business execution. Own coordination and analysis of input for ROB discussions and business reviews at a senior leadership level, including the team's Mid-year review.
2. Business Management- Think strategically at an all up WW level and effectively develop key processes, procedures and communications that facilitate business planning and execution. Provide insight and advice to Server & Cloud and WW Specialist Sales leadership team around strategic, sales, financial and operational issues.
3. Strategy and Planning - Work with Server & Cloud Sales leadership to help develop our approach to connecting with the BG on business strategy and landing our team's sales strategy with the worldwide field teams. Work with various Microsoft partners to represent the interests of our customer base to ensure key initiatives and offerings support our customers' needs.
4. Business Leadership - Work collaboratively with the WW Server & Cloud Sales leadership team. Partner with peer WW specialist sales team, local STU leadership, the Cloud & Enterprise BG, and WW EPG teams. Work with partners in Finance, HR, Marketing, to resolve issues and empower the sales team to achieve their fullest sales and career potentials.
5. Communications and Customer Connection - prepare GM level business presentations and communications for internal and external audiences. Prioritize customer travel, manage key escalations, and coordinate executive sponsorships.

Qualifications and competencies include:
o Executive maturity, organizational agility and strong impact and influence
o Exceptional cross-group collaboration skills - effective engagement and credibility with multiple stakeholders including executives, team and discipline leaders, proven track record on process management and or organizational management
o Demonstrated ability to lead strategic programs and initiatives, with strong planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation and decision making skills
o Previous experience creating complex business strategies and plans
o Strategic, analytic thinker who consistently demonstrates solid business judgment and delivers business insights and results across a range of disciplines
o Highly organized and process focused, able to clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects and implement sustainable processes
o Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to react quickly to changing circumstances and quickly formulate appropriate action plans
o Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and conflict, and make tough decisions
o Passion to own projects and drive to success

This position requires 8-10 years of experience in project management, program management, sales, finance or marketing. A BA/BS or equivalent required. Advanced business degree preferred.
