Do you want to want to use your business management skills to impact the operating infrastructure for an organization that creates Microsoft's largest events and video productions? Then the Business Operations team for the Marketing Group Events and Production Studios may be the right place for you. You will provide insight and advice to the Production Studios leadership team around operational issues, drive process efficiencies, and manage the rhythm of business (ROB). You will work with a dynamic group of people who will rely on your expertise to help them execute with tight business, creative and technical execution through sound business practices and process efficiencies. Responsible for business and operations management including:
Resource management, forecasting, and annual budget processes.
Perform research and analysis to provide management with information and recommendations for use in setting and achieving business objectives
Work with teams to develop the right business processes & metrics to execute and measure the business by.
Support Vendor Management Program that includes vendor metrics, KPI reporting, scorecards, and formal business reviews.
In conjunction with the leadership team drive value proposition definition and quantitative measurements.
Identify business risks and opportunities and work to create and implement action plans to effect change.
Provide business expertise / negotiations for contracts needing to be executed.
Serve as an effective liaison to key partner organizations including HR, Finance, and LCA

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA Preferred.
8+ years related experience preferably in varying groups, such as Finance, Sales, Procurement, Business Planning.
Intermediate or advanced writing and communication skills. Experience and proven ability to work in team environments and matrix organizations.
Experience or training in process re-engineering at an intermediate level is required.
Understanding of contracts and legal requirements at a basic to intermediate level.
Intermediate or Advanced persuasive presentation skills.
Advanced process management skills, Advanced Excel skills, advanced risk assessment and contingency planning skills, and advanced financial evaluation skills.
Positive Interpersonal skills are essential
