The Operator Business Cloud Services team is dedicated to driving and elevating Microsoft's relationship with the largest telecom Operators across the world as a strategic channel for Microsoft. Our services portfolio (including Office 365, Microsoft Intune, and hybrid cloud platforms with Azure) provides an opportunity to the Operators, who are at the epicenter of the devices and services transformation, to offer new differentiated products and services to their customers, enabling them to increase revenue, additional value added services, and reduce customer churn. Through our partnerships we have the ability to impact more than 250M small, midsized and enterprise companies worldwide with technology and solutions that make it easier for them to start, manage and grow their companies.

You will be responsible for expanding our business with the telecom Operators through the Syndication and Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programs. You will work closely with Operator partners, corporate stakeholders and Microsoft sales and account teams around the world to:
- Define and lead the execution of a program for existing Operator syndication partners to join the CSP program, and to transition their base of customers from Syndication platform to CSP
- Define and lead the expansion of geographic coverage of Operator partners that sell our services - new partners, and expansion to new affiliates within existing multi-country Operator groups
- Capture share by leading the qualification, closure and execution of a pipeline of deals to migrate customers from productivity platforms hosted by the Operator, onto Microsoft-hosted Office 365
- Launch the services in market and grow Microsoft and Operator partner revenue
- Represent the interests of our business and Operators needs in the design and evolution of the CSP program
- Build content and supporting materials for field and partner use
- Engage directly with Operators to understand mutual opportunities, and secure their commitment to our cloud services as represented by their plans and investment to launch the services in market
- Map and understand key stakeholders in sales, product and business teams at the Operators, drive executive engagement and relationships to make/influence key decisions, become a trusted advisor, and maximize sales impact

As a sales and business development leader in our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving internal alignment with key Microsoft stakeholders to define strategy and execute on account plans
- Proactively providing crisp and insightful internal communications to regional and corporate headquarters stakeholders
- Collaborating with Microsoft product, engineering, marketing, sales and program teams to ensure that programs and initiatives are aligned to support Operators need and our business development priorities
- Providing leadership and subject matter expertise on business development programs and initiatives to enable Area Sales Managers and Channel Executives to maximize sales results

Expertise/Experience required:
- Strong understanding and insight into the global telecommunications industry and operators business challenges and practices
- 7-10 years of experience selling technical products and services, ideally to and through telecom operators, service providers or related space
- Business acumen, strategic, innovative and structured thinking, strong business networking ability, and executive and senior level oral and written communication and presentation skills and presence
- Experience working in a matrix organization on cross-functional projects

It will be located in Redmond, Washington due to the close day-to-day interaction and collaboration with sales, marketing, product and engineering teams at Microsoft headquarters.
