We're looking for stand out marketer to drive the marketing strategy and execution for our portfolio of skills validation, certification and training solutions. You'll drive the marketing strategy and execution for our certification business and have specific focus on the ITPro audience. Working across Microsoft through the Developer Experiences (DX) Marketing Manager community, Product Groups, Partners and 3rd party communities, you'll drive adoption of new and existing customers to Microsoft Learning Experiences (LeX) programs, fulfilling the promise of the Microsoft platform to our core technical audiences, in a Mobile First, Cloud First world.

Microsoft Learning Experiences (LeX) is the center of excellence for technical training and certification within Microsoft. Every year, millions of IT Professionals, Developers and students engage with us to build their skills, advance their careers and use in their business and daily lives. Across our four major product lines: courseware, certification, books and Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA), we deliver technical readiness solutions across the Microsoft product portfolio to ensure customers use, deploy and develop on the latest Microsoft technologies.

We're looking for the right candidate to extend our reach to new, and deepen our engagement with our existing audiences by owning and leading the marketing strategy for our certification business and the ITPro.

This role will build and tell the LeX story across messaging, positioning, marketing campaigns, and marcomm activities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Audience Marketing Manager will join the LeX Marketing Team, responsible for driving the adoption of certification across our core audiences and owning the ITPro story, responsibilities include:
Owning certification/skills validation marketing planning and strategy and outbound marketing execution.
Working closely across Microsoft (Product Groups, DX, LeX and field) to align marketing strategy, campaign execution and GTM models to drive integration and uptake of LeX programs.
Championing the voice of the IT Pro audience by driving insights, defining messaging & positioning, and building desired customer journeys and flows.
Developing and executing creative campaigns that grow and excite customers, entice new market entrants and tell a compelling story across the marketing mix and communication channels.
Developing and implementing retention and continuous engagement strategies (RM) to keep our existing audiences coming back for more, and our unknown audiences wonder what they're missing out on.
Working across the LeX marketing, products and platform teams to develop marketing and communicating strategies, cadence and plans, to our field, partners, and community influencers.
Leading the development and execution of the overall certification and IT Pro strategy, and provide guidance on how LeX channels should integrate plans/tactics in order to maximize outcomes and performance.
Working across the various teams (LeX, DX, and various BGs) to align IT motions and champion the IT Pro as part of integrated campaigns.
Serving as the LeX Marketing lead for the certification business and the IT Pro; including campaign integration, monthly and quarterly business reviews, MYR, and all other executive reviews
Providing regular and timely reporting on key performance indicators/ metrics to LT and field, along with implications and insights based on the data, compete landscape, and overall market trend.
The ideal candidate for this senior marketing role is an experienced product/audience marketing professional with 7-10 years of industry experience. The candidate will have an exemplary history of connecting customer needs to technology solutions and building deep engagement with broad audiences. The candidate will have exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to translate product strategy into concrete Go To Market motions and marketing campaigns. A demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and presentation skills - along with experience presenting to partners and customers is required.

Position Requirements:
Success in this role will require the development of strong working relationships and interactions with peers, customers, executives, technical leaders, and other product & marketing groups across DX and Microsoft. This is a high visibility position which requires an individual with a strong understanding of industry, partner and audience trends and competition with excellent presentation and strong analytical skills, excellent listening and problem resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Experience and expertise with Microsoft selling and go to market motions are highly desirable. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the high-tech industry with a solid understanding of audience and product marketing/management processes. A technical undergraduate degree and MBA are preferred.
