The DX Student Developer Team
is seeking a top talent to drive our marketing strategy and execution. This strategic global role will be responsible for driving the marketing plan for empowering top student developers to acquire the tools they need, the skills and education to compete in a mobile first, cloud first world, plus enthusiasm and affinity for the Microsoft

- You must have a creative and open-minded approach to strategic marketing and display the ability to challenge convention. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking and have the analytical ability to articulate a strategic vision and then deliver against it.
- The candidate must have a passion for encouraging young technologists, and a strong understanding of our products targeted at this demographic including Visual Studio
, and Project Spark
knowledge of software development platforms, languages, middleware, and tools is a plus so you have authority with our audience.
You will also need a proven track record for running successful demand generation campaigns targeting a net-new audience as well as working with large numbers of international partners and will demonstrate the ability to influence and gain credibility with global field leaders and their teams to drive new behaviors, strategies and impact.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years in the technology marketing space as well as experience working with software developers. MBA
preferred. A background marketing within the STEM-D
education space and/or a STEM-D
degree is a plus.
