Across the Developer and ITPro space we're amassing a passionate customer and partner base, doubling our engaged audience over the last fiscal year. We're now looking for the right candidate to extend our reach to new and deepen our engagement with our existing audiences by owning and leading the marketing strategy and outbound marketing for Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA); connecting with known and unknown (new) audiences, across new and existing channels to engage and retain them on MVA.

You'll own the GTM strategy for MVA and collaborate across the Microsoft organization; with product groups both within and external to LeX, LeX platform teams, DX-Audience Marketing and Engines teams, DX-Audience Marketing Manager field, Partners and 3rd party communities to ensure you drive awareness, interest and demand for MVA, resulting in a deep and continuous engagement with our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Audience Marketing Manager will join the LeX Marketing Team, and will own responsibilities, including:
Owning Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) marketing planning and strategy
Driving outbound marketing activities for MVA
Developing and executing creative campaigns that grow and excite our MVA registered base, entice new market entrants and tell a compelling story across the marketing mix and communication channels
Develop and implement retention and continuous engagement strategies (RM) to keep our existing audiences coming back for more, and our unknown audiences wonder what they're missing out on
Working closely with cross-Microsoft (Product Groups, DX and field) to align marketing strategy, campaign execution and GTM models across the company wide DX marketing and sales motion
Working across the LeX marketing, products and platform teams to develop marketing plans and communicating strategies, cadence and plans, to our field, partners, and community influencers.

The ideal candidate for this senior marketing role is an experienced product/audience marketing professional with 7-10 years of industry experience. The candidate will have an exemplary history of connecting customer needs to technology solutions and building deep engagement with broad audiences. The candidate will have exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to translate product strategy into concrete Go To Market motions and marketing campaigns. A demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and presentation skills - along with experience presenting to partners and customers is required.

Position Requirements:
Success in this role will require the development of strong working relationships and interactions with peers, customers, executives, technical leaders, and other product & marketing groups across DX and Microsoft. This is a high visibility position which requires an individual with a strong understanding of industry, partner and audience trends and competition with excellent presentation and strong analytical skills, excellent listening and problem resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Experience and expertise with Microsoft selling and go to market motions are highly desirable. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the high-tech industry with a solid understanding, developer tools and market, and product management processes. A technical undergraduate degree and MBA are preferred.
