We are looking for a highly motivated, independent innovator who will thrive in our dynamic and technically challenging environment.

As a member of the Microsoft's silicon architecture performance team, you directly impact future products through:

- Cycle-accurate microarchitectural performance modeling driving innovative design improvements
- Software and firmware optimization and analysis
- Performance verification of OTS and custom IP, pre- and post-silicon
- Competitive analysis and vendor IP evaluations

Ideal applicants will have a deep knowledge of computer architecture, functional and cycle-accurate modeling, software profiling and optimization, operating systems, device-level firmware and compilers, and SOC power/performance analysis.

Education/Experience:

Applicants will typically have a Ph.D. or master's degree in computer engineering or computer science, with extensive experience in performance modeling, micro-architecture and/or digital design.
