We're building a new team in Redmond. We're seeking talented developers to bring to life simple, amazing, and delightful social collaboration experiences in one of the most dynamic areas at Microsoft - Yammer and Office 365.

We're seeking product-minded engineers to join the Yammer Quality team. We use Yammer every day to promote an open, collaborative culture. We hire smart people and trust them to create innovative tools & processes that enable product feature teams to ship features with efficiency and confidence.

Our quality engineering team operates in a dynamic environment that anticipates and responds to the quality challenges encountered when shipping to prod on a daily basis as well as ensuring everyone on the team has the right support and tools to mantain quality into the future without large manual investments. We build tools, construct test frameworks, analyse service health telemetry, and work collaboratively with teams across Yammer & Office 365 to proactively resolve issues before they impact end-user experience.

Help build and maintain test/monitoring infrastructure
Collaborate with Ops & Analytics to build/maintain data pipelines
Participate in triaging partner & customer feedback
Be an expert, and source of knowledge on all aspects of the Yammer product as well as Office 365
Facilitate discussion of feature rollout release planning
Drive discussions within product feature teams to encourage effective & sustainable feature validation

Solid software engineering skills (3+ years)
Working knowledge of Ruby and/or Java, or a strong desire to learn them
Ability to adapt, multi-task, and respond to critical situations
Strong knowledge of unit, functional, and integration testing
Strong opinions on how to ship reliable software on a daily basis

Experience with Selenium/Capybara/Appium or other test automation frameworks
Experience with Office 365 administration and/or configuring enterprise software
Data analysis skills (SQL, reporting, data visualization)
Strong curiosity, a desire to create novel solutions to hard problems
