We are looking for an experienced RF hardware design verification engineer. The qualified candidate will draw upon their experience to validate embedded RF hardware to help deliver world class high volume consumer products. The primary role responsibilities are to develop and execute test cases for board level RF performance testing, validate RF parameters against specification, define, develop and automate robust RF hardware test architectures applicable to multiple products and wireless standards; facilitate EMC
compliance tests and the development of manufacturing RF tests, and interface new product technologies to existing automated test systems. You will work closely with the RF development team to develop test cases and to make sure there is 100% results correlation with the design requirements, and will be involved with the troubleshooting process.
The qualified candidate must have a track record verifying/testing embedded RF hardware for high volume consumer electronics products. It is expected that you have design and/or test experience with RF transmitters and receivers, 802.11x and Bluetooth
radios, and RF parameters such as receiver sensitivity, EVM
, IP3, adjacent channel rejection etc. You must have hands on experience with test tools such as RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers etc. Experience
and scripting language programming is desired.
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in RF testing.
capability to define successful test plans, test procedures, test cases, and to analyze test results
experience in test automation
problem solving skills, and written/verbal communication skills.
