Large Screen Devices, Sr. Release Specialist

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to add to our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the engineering documentation streams for the Hardware Development team. Through knowledge of the platform, you will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end process of documenting, reviewing and releasing the engineering documentation, and creating and maintaining the bills of materials (BOMs) for the device and the end-item SKUs.

You will be the SME for the product's hardware configuration, understanding dependencies with the device and for recognizing what forces change when new countries or new hardware are proposed. You will provide leadership and on-the-job training as you engage with various disciplines to resolve ambiguities for change requests and various related issues.

Core Responsibilities

Manage the Master SKU throughout all lifecycles of the program
Maintain Regional Settings Documents
Generate and release all SW Flash Image files for Production
Generate and release all HDD & IMU Image files for Xbox Console Production
Manage all engineering changes for unique hardware configurations
Align product lifecycle to meet configuration management rules within the PDM system
Generate BOM Reports for Product Lifecycle Management
Ensure all agency labeling is structured per the Console SKU Map
Support all inquiries related to newly released changes to Tier 1

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience with product data management tools (PDM) such as Agile, Teamcenter, PTC or UGS, as well as standard office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good organization skills are required. Detailed and organized communication skills with clear, concise, and specific follow through on all action items resulting from meetings and/or directions from the production team.
- Able to handle ambiguous situations and conditions, and an ongoing need to identify, assess, and solve problems quickly and frequently.
- Able to work independently and manage projects and priorities; you are a self-starter who can figure out what needs to be done with minimal direction.
- Attitude must be enthusiastic, positive, and team-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn.
- BS degree in engineering or minimum of 8 years equivalent related work experience is required.

At this level, you will also be expected to understand the HW Release Management activities being performed as a part of your team and be able to participate as necessary in these activities. This may include engaging with our internal & external partners gathering requirements and comprising a release schedule that includes HW, SW, Packaging, Compliance, LCA & other disciplines. This may also include assuring accurate SKU creation and configuration, BOM readiness, product launch risks mitigations, and effective cross functional collaborations.

Additional Qualifications Desired

You must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong and flexible interpersonal skills to work with creative or technical or business-oriented people equally well.
Ability to guide the product information release into production status.
Work with other disciplines to assure alignment of cross-team execution.
Good knowledge of Program Management fundamentals for program schedule and risk management and dependencies assessment.
