The Regional Sales Manager develops careers and provides leadership to a team of experienced digital sellers. This includes, but not limited to, career development, performance reviews, coaching, motivating, hiring, and corrective action. You and your team will enable brands to create innovative advertising solutions across multiple premium platforms such as the MSN, Windows 8, Outlook, Windows Phone, Skype and Xbox Live reaching close to one billion people. Additionally, the Manager frequently interacts with all levels of Microsoft management and maintains strategic relationships with clients and agencies in the digital advertising community.

In an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where Internet advertising is often sold before product offerings are fully developed and features change rapidly, the Manager will need to be able to make sound and timely decisions and act accordingly.

Qualifications include:
o A minimum 10 years relevant sales experience, including complex business transactions with senior executives preferably in the advertising industry
o BA/BS from an accredited college/university or at least 12 years of relevant professional experience
o Demonstrated leadership ability to influence senior leadership, customers, and peers.
o An ability to qualify and quantify sales metrics/results and ensure appropriate steps are taken to obtain revenue goals
o Assisting Regional Managers with appropriate quota setting and staffing ratios (sales to sales support) to achieve sales revenue
o Infectiously passionate about the benefits of technology generally and especially the Internet
o Proven track record in negotiation deals and closing business with national top-tier accounts
o Confident, clear and engaging written and oral communication and presentation skills
o Client centric attitude with indisputably effective interpersonal skills
o Proven track record in generating support from others to achieve the desired business outcomes
o Enable change with clear communications around business rationale for change and align roles, systems, and processes with the direction of the change.
o Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where internet advertising is often sold before product offerings are fully developed and features change rapidly
o Represent the division and company with integrity and trustworthiness, while persuasively selling the benefits of online advertising and overcoming any objections
o Ability to travel up to 30% nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events
