Office Core Apps and Services org has embarked on a mission to delight our customers by using data informed engineering to develop compelling products and services. The JETS team in Office Core Applications & Services is looking for an experienced Program Manager II to drive analytics and insights across product teams to enable this mission.

The JETS team offers telemetry and experimentation capabilities to power a wide range of Office client products and services. The Program Manager will work with Office application teams to develop datasets and analyses, and generate metrics and insights on customers' usage of Office apps and their associated experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a program manager to solve complex technical and business problems, drive change and create strong business impact in the organization. This individual will be responsible for understanding customer scenarios, and driving data analyses and insights for Office applications and services. As such, this position involves collaborating and coordinating with other teams across Office and ASG. We are looking for a strong Program Manager with a proven track record to contribute to this very important effort.

Core skills:

o Expertise and passion working with customers to understand their scenarios and business drivers
o Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with passion for big data
o Ability to develop product plans and roadmap, define capabilities, and drive project execution
o Excellent technical and functional design skills
o Strong written and oral communication skills
o Demonstrated success building strong relationships and delivering results in cross-group projects

Experience:

o 4+ years of experience in program management or product management in software companies
o Demonstrated experience in the entire software product development cycle
o Experience with big data systems to deliver insights and predictive analytics a plus
o Education
o Bachelor and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Are you passionate about mobile design, applications, smartphones, and Windows Phone?

We are looking for an exceptional PM to help us deliver the next generation of Office applications for Windows Phone devices. This is an opportunity to define, design, and built the shared experiences for the Office Applications. We are the Office Windows Phone team (OWPX) and our team is tasked to build mobile Office user experiences that enable our users Access, Navigate, Produce, and Share their Office documents in an innovative way on their Windows Phone.

We are in the early stage of define our next Windows Phone applications and we are looking to build upon the next generation of Office code, UX, and services to deliver the best phone experiences for our customers unrivaled on any other smartphone platform.

We are looking for a strong PM who enjoys designing for customers and has a passion for mobile applications and development. We are an agile development team and working on short ship cycle so need a strong and focused PM to help lead our development teams. We also look for well-rounded PMs who can design UX and also work to integrate MS and Office Services on Windows Phone.

The ideal candidate would have:-

o 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager
o Passion for design, mobility, and Windows Phone
o Desire to work in a startup environment on a v1 product
o Experience with design and development in C/C++ or C#
o Great communication and collaboration skills
o BS/BA or equivalent degree
