One of the key growth markets for computing is in education. Android, ChromeOS, iOS, MacOS and Windows are all being proposed as options for a growing trend of 1:1 device programs in primary, secondary and higher education. As the Windows outbound marketing lead, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the Windows 10 value proposition for School Leaders and influential Educator audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Windows 10 Storybook for Education - Help build the Windows 10 value proposition and messaging for School Leaders and influential Educator audiences. If the field, customer, partner, teacher or partner sees content about Windows in education you will have had a hand in shaping it. Working with a strong set of collaborators within Windows and across the company you will decide what is needed and how to go about building it.
FY16 Marketing Plan and GTM Evolution - In partnership with the Windows field and channel team and the WW EDU team you will define the marketing plan and shape a modern approach to reaching our target EDU customers.
EDUEmpowered campaign - You will be the Windows lead for the EDUEmpowered campaign and the Microsoft in the classroom program. MiC is a primary engine of the campaign and showcases how Microsoft in Education enables 21st-century teaching and learning and supports attainment of educational outcomes critical to school leaders today
Customer Storytelling - You will be the lead source of customer knowledge and insight for the team. You will use this insight to create inspirational success stories that move the market.
This role requires someone with:
At least 5 years' experience in marketing strategy development
Passion for and understanding of Edu audience
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
Customer empathy and storytelling skills that resonate
Ability and commitment to work collaboratively across multiple teams and constituencies Proven networking and relationship development skills
Cross-team collaborator with a track record of leading virtual teams to drive results
Proven track record for successful execution in a matrixed organization
Bachelor's degree a must, MBA or equivalent masters preferred
