Office Core Apps and Services org has embarked on a mission to delight our customers by using data informed engineering to develop compelling products and services. The JETS team in Office Core Applications & Services is looking for a Principal Program Manager to drive analytics and insights that are highly impactful and visible across product teams to enable this mission.

The JETS team offers telemetry and experimentation to power a wide range of Office client products and services. The Principal Program Manager will work with Data Scientists and Analysts on algorithmic approaches (data mining, machine learning, predictive analyses) to derive Insights from data on customers' usage of Office apps and their associated experience to inform product successes and opportunities for improvement across Office client applications and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced program manager to solve complex technical, analytical and business problems, drive change and create strong business impact in the organization. This individual will be responsible for understanding customer scenarios, driving data science and analyses work to inform and predict ways for Office teams to make our applications and products compelling. As such, this position involves collaborating and coordinating with other teams across Office and ASG. We are looking for a strong Program Manager with a proven track record to drive this very important effort.

-Expertise and passion working with customers to understand their scenarios and business drivers
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with passion for big data
-Ability to develop product plans and roadmap, define capabilities, and drive project execution
-Excellent technical and functional design skills
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Demonstrated success building strong relationships and delivering results in cross-group projects

-8+ years of experience in program management or product management in software companies
-Demonstrated experience in big data systems to deliver insights and predictive analytics

-Bachelor and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
