Microsoft's Operating System Group (OSG) is responsible for some of Microsoft's largest and most important online services including Windows Update, Windows Marketplace, Xbox Live, Microsoft Game Studios, the Microsoft Commerce Platform and more.
The OSG Security Operations Team has an immediate opportunity for an experienced identity and access expert to join our infrastructure security team. The successful candidate will security architecture of our identity and access systems our internal and external facing IT environments.
In this role, you will be focused on strengthening and managing our approach to access control including development of identity isolation strategies, design and oversight of multi-factor authorization solutions, and architecture and deployment of just-in-time and just-enough-administration access solutions across multiple operational environments.

Basic Qualifications:
7+ years relevant IT, development, operations, or other relevant technical experience with a focus on identity lifecycle management
Experience with Active Directory, SAML, PKI, multi-factor authentication, and access management solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS in an engineering field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable experience.

Ideal candidates also have:
Strong project management skills and proven ability to drive projects to completion
Experience working in a highly complex and dynamic environment
Experience working with operations teams to implement cost-effective and reliable end-to-end solutions
CISSP Certification

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

Criminal Justice Information Services: This position may require passing a background check conducted through the CJIS criminal justice information system by authorized local, state, and/or federal agencies.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Public Trust Position: This position may require passing a United States Public Trust Position (PTP) background investigation to meet federal, state and/or local government requirements.
